The California Surf Museum (CSM) will hold its 2nd Annual
Gala Fundraiser on Thursday, May 14, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the new
California Surf Museum. The event will be held at its new facility
located at 312 Pier View Way, in the City of Oceanside.
There will be live music, a variety of food experiences, and a silent
auction, with many limited-edition items. Surfing legends will be in
attendance to mingle with the crowd. “By supporting this gala event, those
who attend will be giving-back to the sport of surfing, and honoring the history
of surfing with the prestige it deserves,” explains Dr. Jean Keller, director of
the California Surf Museum.
“This new museum facility is the first building built in the United States
for specific use as a surf museum. The museum displays a significant part
of the culture and heritage of surfing. Its collection and archives are
world class in its preservation and documentation,” says Dr. Keller.
“The funds generated from this Gala Fundraiser will help CSM provide
comprehensive, solutions-integrating audiovisual technology, that will empower
CSM to inspire and educate thousands of visitors each year.”
Tickets for the event will be $65 per person for members and $100 for
non-members. Tickets at the door will be $125.
Buy your tickets immediately as the event is expected to sell-out. Please purchase directly at the California
Surf Museum or online at
