I was in Basel Switzerland on business and met up with an old friend for a drink. He asked if I wished to go to a private club he belonged to called the "Hula Club". They're only open on the first Tuesday of the month and the house band is a band of Swiss gentlemen that got their start as a Hawaiian band in the 40's, called the Hula Hawaiians.
Well, I guess you know the answer to the question.
Who would have thought a place and band like this could exist.
Pretty cool place. The band was good, unfortunately there ace guitarist was absent.

They opened up the night (5-6 numbers) then a blues band did two sets, then they closed with a couple numbers. Other months they have harmonica players, etc.
