After 2 sold out shows at Kona, The Tikiyaki Orchestra returns
to ring in the New Year with their unique brand of Retro Exotica to
entertain the ever growing legion of Tikiphiles in Southern
California.
With the economy in it's current state, and less people being
able to take that tropical vacation to the islands this year, the
Tikiyaki Orchestra and KONA are bringing the islands to you. With a
low admission price of $15, you get 2 sets of music from the Tikiyaki
Orchestra, accompanied by World belly dancing champion Tehani doing
her unique fusion of Hula and Belly dancing, special guests The
Eliminators doing their brand of traditional surf, and DJ Jeff "Big
Tiki Dude" Hanson spinning classic and modern surf, exotica, Hawaiian
and lounge sounds, all served up in the in the classic Tiki tropical
ambiance that makes the KONA experience so special.
KONA will offer special dinner packages, classic Mai Tais for
the Tiki Cocktail aficionados, and plenty of Aloha spirit to make you
feel like you're on an island vacation in the tropics.
You can purchase tickets online at www.tikiyakiorchestra.com
or www.myspace.com/tikiyaki or at the door the night of the show,
though the past 2 Tikiyaki Orchestra shows have sold out, so it's
best to get tickets early.

Incredibly inspiring performance by Bob Drasnin
Still making new music, still expanding his own boundaries by doing a
vocal performance
Check this out: a pep song done Exotica style. Another first, and
another first for Drasnin?
