Dear Otto, i had such a blast at tiki oasis 8. Ive been a tiki collector since i was 12 years old and growing up in vegas things dont really last or really click with people. So i really find it difficult to get my tiki fix here. i really appreciate when people can bring things out and organize events like the ones you do. any way the main reason im mailing you is to let you know about a tiki bar opening up on dec. 4. its an ole bar built in like '42 and the new owner is going to keep it vintage, BUT is hiring tiki icon bamboo ben to do his magic. I wasnt quite old enough to experience shags lounge when it was here, although i did sneek in to see it in all its glory. i would like to have a tiki extravaganza here and am trying to organize something at our old drive-in theatre.
