Taylor Steele, the surf industry's most successful filmmaker of the
past decade, has done it again. The film features top surfers such as 
the 6-time World Champion Kelly
Slater, current World Champion Andy Irons, Rob Machado, Donovan
Frankenreiter and more. Absolutely ripping remote surf locations across
the globe.

Taylor will be at the Red Vic to field questions about the film.

Preceding CAMPAIGN will be 3 short, locally made surf films featuring
robots, zombies, and fleas.

Then head to the CAMPAIGN After Party at the Elbo Room: Featuring the
bands- Two Gallants and Kut U Up, whom appear on the film's soundtrack.
(Further band information near bottom of this long email) Between bands DJ
Etch Brothers, featuring pro surfer Omar Etchevery will be spinning records.
So come celebrate the release of CAMPAIGN with the man- Taylor Steele.

More info about Two Gallants and Kut U Up-
Two Gallants are Adam and Tyson, two youths originated in San
Francisco.  Together they are drums, guitar, vocals, harmonica, and piano
when the house provides. They have known each other since they were 
5, have been in
bands together since they were 12, and have been two gallants for a little
more than a year. Two Gallants have been classified as .garage-country,
countrified-alt-punk, gutter-country, hardcore-candyman., etc.  Their
influences range from back-country blues musicians of the 20s and 30s
like Skip James, Charlie Patton, and Blind Willie McTell to more recent
local punk bands like Hickey and Operation Ivy. All this under the constant
imposition of John Fahey, Arthur Rimbaud, and Bob Dylan.

Kut U Up is first and foremost, a rock band, destroying the crowd with
their brand of young dirty indie rock. Their sound is a mix of 70s trash
rock, post hard-core complexity, and indie rock emotions.  Kut U Up was the
lone side-stage act on the 2002 Pop Disaster Tour, featuring Blink 182,
Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, Saves The Day and Simple Plan, thus developing a
nation wide fan base.   And more recently Kut U Up has 3 songs featured
on the soundtrack of the much acclaimed TransWorld Surf video game for
Playstation 2, X-Box, & Game Cube.  To top that off some songs have
been used in action sports movies including Poor Specimen's Drive Thru,
Momentum, & 411 video magazine.
