Very sad news to report from here-

The Aku Aku in Cambridge MA is being dismantled this week. The 2 exterior
(fiberglass) tikis were chopped up yesterday; the photo in todays newspaper
was very sad, showing them being hauled away. We managed to get about a
dozen or so captains chairs out of the trash there last night, to be used
in our new nightclub. I heard today there are some carved tikis in the
trash behind the place - I'm going to check it out tomorrow. Between this
and the news about the Kahiki, we should be wearing black armbands. More
updates as they come.....
